The Kota Kinabalu New Court complex will be fully operational, providing quality judicial and legal services to the people. Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) director-general Datuk Jalil Marzuki noted that the physical and non-physical infrastructure of the judiciary is essential to the national development agenda. The project was approved with an allocation of RM177 million, comprising a six-storey building with 16-room spans, comprising a Federal Court, three High Courts, six Sessions Court and six Magistrates' Courts.
