The Sabah Art Gallery organizes annual exhibitions and events that promotes work by local and international artists. Annual Art Selection is conducted to encourage local talent and to increase the collection of the Gallery. The Sabah Art Gallery Conservation Building is located in Kota Kinabalu and is first 'Green' building in Borneo, with distinctive design it's an attraction in itself.

The Kota Kinabalu New Court complex will be fully operational, providing quality judicial and legal services to the people. Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) director-general Datuk Jalil Marzuki noted that the physical and non-physical infrastructure of the judiciary is essential to the national development agenda. The project was approved with an allocation of RM177 million, comprising a six-storey building with 16-room spans, comprising a Federal Court, three High Courts, six Sessions Court and six Magistrates' Courts.
